I do like that the stable steps support more weight and have feet that hit the ground. In fact, I’ve put Lippert Stable Steps on my own steps in my present travel trailer. But the steps don’t require as much of an arc to deploy and they don’t bring dirt back into the RV when put away. Overall and based on my online research, I think the Grand Design Imagine travel trailer is a very good travel trailer. The Grand Design Imagine is available in 11 different floor plans. All the plans feature a 60 by 80 queen bed and sometimes even have a fireplace. You’ll also find a 30 by 36 shower with skylight refrigerator pantry and a 32in LED TV entertainment center. A couple of the plans have bunk beds with bike storage.
The nearest dealer to me wouldn't repair it under warranty because I didn't buy it from them. The closest dealer that would do the warranty work was 125 miles away. I left it at their shop for 7 weeks and they were not able to secure a new awning because the part was back ordered. Grand Design customer service was NO help in getting this resolved. So now I'm sitting in the Florida sun with a new '23 model Grand Design Solitude without an awning. The Grand Design Imagine has lots of room, the floor plan design are very functional.
When you do then you could theoretically stand in the shower for an hour and not run out of hot water. There are a lot of things I love about this floor plan including the fact that there are no slide rooms. There are plenty of camp-side windows which seem to be a disappearing thing lately in many RVs but not this one.
